November 2, 2020

Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by chairman Pharo.

Roll Call Chairman Pharo, Vice Chairman Lupton, Secretary Higbee, Treasurer Robertson, Commissioner Cowley, Clerk Rothman.

Public on hand 4.

Minutes of the October 5^th meeting were approved as recorded.

Motion to pay bills, Lupton, Pharo.

NEW BUSINESS

Mr. Robertson gave the following report,

1. Preventive maintenance was performed by Emergency Vehicle Service (EVS) on trucks.
2. The transmission on T-39 will be looked at by Cruzan’s on Friday the 6^th of November. Report to follow.

Mr. Higbee will pick up paint for the doors at the Fortescue station.

Mr. Rothman gave the following report,

1. The doors at the Fortescue station should be complete soon. Report to follow.
2. The generator at the Fortescue station is due for service. A date for service should be given in the near future.

OLD BUSINESS

The Members were given the breakdown of expenditures on 2020 for comparison with the 2021 budget. Clerk Rothman went over line items, answered questions, and any suggestions from the auditor office. The budget for 2021 will reflect an $800.00 increase from 2020. The proposed budget for 2021 will be $224,510.00, or an increase of 0.04 cents. Chairman Pharo asked if any changes were needed at this time or any other questions from the board. All members were satisfied with the proposed 2021 budget. A roll call vote was taken with a 5 – 0 vote in favor of the proposed 2021 budget. Clerk Rothman will contact Mr. Colavitas office to inform them of this. Secretary Higbee suggested to hold a special public meeting on Monday December 21^st. This will allow time to get the proposed budget back from Mr. Colavitas office as well as advertise the notice.
