Meeting called to order by Chairman Pharo at 6:00pm.
Roll Call, Chairman Pharo, Vice Chairman Lupton, Secretary Higbee, Commissioner Cowley, Clerk Rothman.
Public on hand 3.
The minutes of the January 3 meeting were approved as recorded, Higbee, Cowley.
Motion to pay bills, Lupton Pharo.
Chairman Pharo asked that the meeting be turned over to new business for a presentation from Joe Hasse from Bayshore Wireless.
Mr. Hasse inquired about the tower that is at the Fortescue station. His company is interested in the tower for wireless services in this part of the township. After some questions from both the Commissioners and Mr. Hasse it was asked that Mr. Hasse put his request in a writing so that the attorney for the Board of Commissioners can review.
OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Rothman reported that Ashore Partners Insurance will be giving the Commissioners a package on the JIF insurance for the BOFC. In the near future.
Mr. Higbee gave the following report,
- The door at the Fortescue station in bay 1 has been repaired.
- The plug on 3923 has been repaired and by Vineland Auto Electric.
- Both Newport and Fortescue heaters have been serviced by Woodruff
- All refrigeration units have been serviced at the Newport and Fortescue stations by Haff.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Rothman reported that the elections for the Board of Commissioners will be on Saturday February 19th from 2:00Pm to 9:00pm at the Newport Hall. Commissioners are urged to stop by. All ballot sheets and sign in sheets are complete. The election books can be picked up on Wednesday the 16th after 12:00pm thru Friday the 18th.
Mr. Lupton reported that some monies may become available from Hurricane Sandy back in 2016. He will report back.
Resolution 22-1 to adopt a temporary budget was passes with a 4-0 in favor.
Resolution 22-2 to transfer funds was passed with a 4-0 in favor.
