Meeting called to order by Chairman Pharo at 6:00pm.
Roll Call, Chairman Pharo, vice Chairman Lupton, Treasurer Robertson, Secretary Higbee, Commissioner Cowley, Clerk Rothman.
Public on hand, 4.
The minutes of the December 6 meeting were approved as recorded, Lupton, Cowley.
Motion to pay bills, Higbee, Pharo.
OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Robertson gave the following report,
- The 5 ton was serviced and 3950 will be sent out in the near future for the new sending unit on the pump.
- The overhead door at the Fortescue station where 3950 is will be fixed as soon as the parts arrive from South Jersey Door.
Mr. Rothman gave an update on Associated Partners Insurance. The board will continue to provide information and review. The current policy is due to renew in April 2022.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Robertson reported that the 4’ and 8’ fluorescent lights will be changed at the Fortescue station this month. This is due to the bulbs lasting a short time.
Chairman Pharo opened the meeting for the public hearing portion on the proposed 2022 budget. Copies of the 2022 budget were on hand for the public. The clerk reviewed the proposed 2022 budget represented an amount to be raised by taxation of $225,559.00. This will reflect .188 per $100.00 property value. The proposed increase of $1,049.00 but will not reflect in a raise of tax rate. The Chairman asked if anyone from the public has any questions on the proposed budget, with none the chairman closed the public portion of the meeting. It was then asked if any board members have any question on the proposed 2022 budget, with none the Chairman asked for a roll call vote on the proposed 2022 budget. Aye votes were Mr. Pharo, Mr. Lupton, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Higbee, Miss Cowley. There were no Nay votes. The clerk will get all information to Mr. Colavitas office for the election on February 19, 2022.
