Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by chairman Pharo.
Roll call, Chairman Pharo, Vice Chairman Lupton, Secretary Higbee, Treasurer Robertson, Commissioner Cowley, Clerk Rothman.
Public on hand – 5
Minutes of the June Meeting were approved as recorded.
Motion to pay bills, Lupton, Pharo.
OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Robertson gave the following report,
- Updated report on the equipment and truck maintenance that has been performed over the past month.
- The overhead door on bay 3 at the Newport station is not working properly. It will need to be opened manually. South Jersey will work on this over the next few days.
- The batteries on Engine 39 have not been replaced since 2014. One of these batteries is bad. Vineland Auto Electric will replace all 6 due to the age.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Rothman gave the following report,
- Copies of the audit were handed out to all board members. The Audit report was reviewed. There were no corrective actions required for the year 2020.
A roll call vote was taken, with a 5-0 vote in favor to accept the audit report the group affidavit was signed by all commissioners and resolution 21-10 was passed as well.
- We are waiting on the proposal from Foley Cat for the service contract for the generator.
Mr. Robertson and Mr. Rothman reported that there needs to talks with Mr. Gosweiler office in regards to some past practices. This will be addressed or we may have the need to look elsewhere for an insurance agent.
