Meeting called to order by Chairman Lupton at 6:00pm.
Roll Call, Chairman Lupton, Vice Chairman Crowley, Treasurer Robertson, Secretary Higbee.
Public on hand – 6
Minutes of the June 5th meeting were approved as recorded, Robertson, Higbee.
Motion to pay bills, Crowley, Lupton.
OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Robertson gave the following report,
- The EMS equipment is on the trucks and in service.
- The gas meter chargers and turn out gear are on order and some are in service.
- All hose testing has been completed.
- Truck committee will be meeting with Seagrave in the near future.
- The swift water gear has been ordered. (Homeland security grant)
- Liz asked about the Sonar boat work and when will the work be completed on this.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Robertson gave the following report,
- SCBA and Hurst testing will be done shortly.
- The hydro testing for the 6000psi system on R-39 will need to be done in the near future. We will inquire with Keen gas to see if they will perform this.
- The chief addressed some complaints about some members driving at excessive speed as they responded to call. This will also be addressed during the company meeting.
- Do we need to look into installing automatic overhead door openers to the South side doors at the Newport station. The boats and at times 39-23 are located in this bay.
Mr. Lupton reported that the Township has purchased a drone for OEM. We are currently working on getting personal properly licensed. This will be available for use to Station 39 when needed. Will report back when this is completed.
Miss Crowley reported that on August 12, the Green Team will have the Bounty of The Bay fund raiser at the Fortescue station. Any one that would like to help please let her know.
