Meeting called to order by Vice Chairman Cowley
Roll Call Vice Chairman Cowley, Treasurers Robertson, Secretary Higbee, Clerk Rothman.

Minutes of the August 4th meeting were approved as recorded, Higbee, Robertson.
Motion to pay bills, Cowley, Robertson.
OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Robertson gave the following report,
- E-39 will need to go to shop for repair for the A/C. This will be scheduled for the spring of 2024.
- The grant writer is still working on the FEMA grant project.
- The truck committee will meet with Seagrave in the near future. When this happens, we can go out to bid.
- The new turnout gear is still being delivered slowly.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Robertson gave the following report,
- T-39 and 39-21 had battery problems last week. Mr. Lupton changed in both units.
Miss. Cowley asked that if she can ask members of the fire company to volunteer to help with the marine mammal stranding training. A class will be given at the Fortescue station.
Mr. Higbee inquired about the status of the 700 system for the radios. Mr. Robertson said that someone from the county radio maintenance will come out in the near future to see what will be involved with the installation of equipment on rucks and marine units.
Resolution 23-12 was presented to the committee. This is for Resolution to establish Compensation for the board of fire commissioners.
A roll call vote was taken and passed 3 yea 0 nay.
TREASURERS REPORT
Checking Account - $284,508.53
Mr. Robertson and Mr. Rothman will review all line items for 2023 and 2024 budget needs in the next week.
