MISSION STATEMENT

The primary mission of the company is to provide safe and effective fire suppression and rescue forces to protect life, property, and the local economy of the Downe Township Fire District #1 from the devastating effects of fires, medical emergencies, and any other traumatic situation. These include but are not limited to floods, hurricanes, or other forms of natural or man made disasters.

• “Rules and Regulations: The Board of Fire Commissioners is regulated by the State of New Jersey and works with the Fire Company to establish regulations that provide fire protection and prevention which is in compliance with regulations set forth by the State of New Jersey.”
