Rhubart came to look at the roof, needs to be fixed
Windows still leaking, Scheduled to be replaced in 2007 but never done
Going to try caulking the windows to prevent rain from coming in
Motion Lupton: Find someone else to look at roof of both buildings All in favor
Paperwork for resolution adoption of Resolution 24-12 Authorizing appointment special counsel for local finance board Robertson-yes

Moving along with the new Rescue Truck
2 Bids came in for the truck 167,000 year payment
Tender 39 did not go to Auto Electric, Trying to do a work around to run the radio
700 Radio switched over for EMS. Unknown when fire will switch
Ordered the 6 bottles and they should be coming in
Sonar boat not fixed. Dead battery, won't even charge. We need to contact a fabricator to see if we can do what we want with it.
New Business
May 11 Horseshoe crab festival. Requesting Fire department presence, gator and EMT's.
Bird issue in the kitchen vents Fortescue- Try chicken wire around outside vent
Birds in Newport Station as well- Soffit issue, getting the roof done should fix it
Kitchen inspected and passed for next year
Hose, pump, ladder and hose testing- everything passed Few small sections of hose did not pass but does not need to be replaced
Few gauges need to be fixed on the tender.
Few disciplinary issues over the last month
Looking into revamping the Junior program
Workers Comp paid in full 37,814
We have a shortage of dry suits, ones we have cannot be repaired, not cheap to replace. 3000 a set but they are custom fit Looking into grants or funding
Coast Guard is not going to have a station in Fortescue this year
Boat calls may go up this year
